Salotto 1828

You will find the Salotto 1828 in a listed building on the Opernplatz in Kassel. The spacious coffee store extends over two levels and inspires with its airy ambience which offers plenty of space for stimulating conversations and cool moments. In addition to Italian coffee specialties, also on offer is  Mediterranean finger food, which is also available in vegetarian and vegan varieties. If you so wish, you can make yourself comfortable in the Salotto 1828 with your laptop and use the free Wi-Fi to work or surf the web.

The Falada in the GRIMM WORLD on the Kassel vineyard offers you a fantastic view and grandiose culinary delights. Collective café Kurbad Jungborn

On the eastern banks of the Fulda right by the historical Drahtbrücke bridge, you'll find the Bademuseum, the museum of spa culture and bathing, and the Kurbad Jungborn, along with the collective's café of the same name. Where Kassel once used to go to bathe, you can now enjoy an amazing view of the river whilst spoiling yourself with scrumptious drinks, snacks and fresh cakes. The BOREAL is the beer garden of the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof in Kassel's Nordstadt district. In the summer, cosy groups of tables and chairs beneath large trees invite you to relax whilst enjoying a cool drink and tasty food, listen to music and strike up a conversation with some of the other guests. The BOREAL also regularly hosts concerts, readings and other cultural events.
